Clean and preserve designated spaces, equipment, furniture · Assist visiting members of the public who are utilizing the facility · Project a positive image for the school district with his/her co-workers and whenever the public, guests or visitors are in the building · Work closely with appropriate supervisory personnel and co-workers to be prepared for scheduled "off-hours" activities and unscheduled events as needed · Shovel snow and salt walks as needed · Maintain building and grounds security by opening/closing the building and operating the alarm systems each school day and during special events as directed · Work on call as needed at any time for emergency repairs, equipment monitoring, overtime or special needs falling outside regularly scheduled hours · The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, including cleaning supplies, pails, bags and boxes. 2026-2027 Salary Ranges - Collective Bargaining Unit Contracts Collective Bargaining Unit Contracts Custodians: $49,875-$59,769 POSITION TITLE: Night Custodian SHIFT: Night 2:30pm-11:00pm QUALIFICATIONS: To be eligible for employment as a custodian, a person shall demonstrate the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to complete the assigned work effectively.
