li>Communicates official plans, policies and procedures to staff; plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates and evaluates assigned staff; reviews progress and directs changes as needed; maintains harmony among workers and resolves problems; initiates corrective measures for errors and complaints. Supervises and performs nursing services, such as obtaining vital signs, wound care, IV therapy, collecting blood, urine, sputum and stool specimens, respond to emergencies in the Facility, and performing assessments to insure needs are met in accordance with clinical guidelines, as well as duties imposed by the State and Federal laws and regulations and OCCD administrative procedures.
