Assists in developing, implementing, and enforcing clear and concise department policies and procedures to ensure the safe, efficient operations of the department that are in compliance with current regulatory issues pertinent to the department's clinical issues and operations, which may include but are not limited to, CAP, The Joint Commission, Department of Public Health, Department of Labor, OSHA and the Massachusetts and local Building Code oversight. Supervisor: Oversees and directs the day-to-day laboratory operations in the assigned areas/benches to ensure the employees are providing our patients with the most effective, efficient, safe, timely and patient-centered services possible.
