Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance of buildings and equipment, including:Minor repairs to patient care and transport equipment such as beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, carts, and tray tablesAssisting with repairs to medical gas systems, sterilizers, and operating tablesMinor plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, sinks, valves, piping, and fixturesMinor electrical repairs, including lighting, control devices, panels, dietary equipment, and refrigeration equipmentAdjustment of thermostats and installation of orthopedic traction setupsHanging shelves and pictures; moving furniture and boxes as neededDocument completed work accurately and timely using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, and activity logs.
