The job duties of the Project Manager include but are not limited to planning, coordinating, and overseeing municipal construction and infrastructure projects; preparing and reviewing construction drawings, plans, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinating with engineers, contractors, and city departments; ensuring projects comply with city, state, and federal regulations; managing project budgets and schedules; conducting field inspections; and maintaining accurate project documentation. The Project Manager also evaluates departmental needs, supports long term capital planning, and ensures effective communication with the public, elected officials, and partner agencies.
