Strong understanding of machining principles, materials (e.g., aluminum, steel, titanium, plastics), cutting tools and holders, terms such as SFM, IPR, DOC, APEX, MRR ect. You’ll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Mazak mills and/or lathes to produce complex parts that meet tight tolerances and customer specifications.
