p>- Candidate must possess knowledge in industrial network protocols, network architecture, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, remote access, wireless networks, databases, human-machine interface devices, backup power systems, cabling, documentation, procedures, related equipment and software; network concepts, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP; port configuration, link aggregation, spanning tree optimization, Resilient Ethernet Protocol and performance tuning. Participates in or leads projects related to planning, maintaining, monitoring, configuring, diagnosing and testing the process control and automation network infrastructure including but not limited to networks, switches, servers, hosts, clients, wiring, software and related components.
