The CRNA scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following: Performing and timely and accurately documenting a pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia. With modern technology, efficient workflows, and a collaborative surgical team, CRNAs enjoy a predictable 32-hour workweek, strong surgeon relationships, and the opportunity to practice at the top of their skill set in a supportive, high-quality clinical setting.
