PURPOSE OF POSITION The Injury Prevention, Outreach/Education, and Trauma Research Coordinator (Coordinator) will report to the Trauma Program Manager (TPM) and Trauma Medical Director (TMD) and collaborate with health professionals and community members to promote injury prevention initiatives and develop strategies to reduce the burden of injury in our community. Disseminates information about the trauma program and trauma systems through public awareness/educational programs, newsletters, websites and participates in local, regional, state and national trauma events consistent with the requirements of a Level I Trauma Center.
