Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: High Acuity Unit, ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active Illinois license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with PEG tube care/feedings - Experience with CVC/PICC/Midline usage and care - Experience caring for tracheostomy patients - Experience caring for sedated and ventilated patients - Experience titrating vasopressors and managing sedation and pain control drips Description: The unit consists of eight beds and operates under a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3. Common patient diagnoses include respiratory failure, post-surgical recovery, wound care, IV antibiotic administration, post-stroke care, trauma recovery, and cardiac patients.
