The position requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to assess patient acuity, initiate appropriate diagnostic and treatment interventions, and determine when a patient requires a higher level of care, including referral or transfer to specialty, urgent care, or emergency services. This position works collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and other members of the Medical Services team to facilitate timely access to care, effective clinical decision-making, efficient patient flow, and appropriate coordination and follow-up care.
