The Nurse Practitioner will primarily conduct preoperative and pre-admission telephone assessments, reviewing medical histories, evaluating perioperative risk factors, coordinating necessary testing and clearances, providing patient education, and partnering closely with procedural teams to ensure patients are appropriately prepared for their upcoming procedures. Working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, primary care physicians, and specialty providers, the team is dedicated to enhancing patient safety, improving surgical outcomes, and ensuring a seamless perioperative experience through thorough medical evaluation, risk stratification, medication management, and coordination of required testing.
