wounds, minor burn care, arterial blood gas sampling, incision and drainage of abscess, thoracentesis, advanced cardiac life support procedures, paracentesis, urinary bladder catheterization, gastric lavage, central venous catheter insertion, advanced airway management, and bedside ultrasound. The APP resident will take medical histories, performs physical examinations, perform specified procedures, and develop patient treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician.
