p>WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock • Occasional high noise level in work environment • Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents • Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time • Transporting, transferring, positioning patients and/or equipment from one location to another; little likelihood for injury if proper body mechanics and procedures are followed • Occasional contact with aggressive and combative patients • Position requires compliance with department specific competencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain BSN within five years for current ThedaCare RNs • Current Wisconsin RN license • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) • Three years of clinical experience • Two years of experience leading projects, a council/committee, and/or clinical improvement work.
