TYPICAL DUTIES:1.As instructed by designated authority or Dispatcher, escorts and/or transports new admissions, in and outpatients between patient units, x-ray, outpatient departments, Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, Ambulatory Surgical Center and the various clinical services. 2.Assists nursing staff in restraining disturbed patients, handling unusually heavy patients and the like; transports deceased patients.
