Assists the RN/LPN with routine patient care and treatment of patients as delegated by the RN/LPN or designee and under the direct supervision of the RN/LPN including, but not limited to vital signs, Intake Output, pain level assessment, administering enemas, applying hot/cold packs, glucoscans, height and weight, transporting, ambulating, answering call lights, cleaning equipment, sitting 1:1’s, receiving patients in room, assisting in pre/post-operative care, assisting in admission/discharge activities and assisting in treatments. Provides assistance to the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the delivery of patient care including caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient and family unit in a professional, courteous, supportive manner, under the general supervision of the Patient Care Manager or his/her designee.
