Under the general supervision of the Practice Manager and the direct supervision of the licensed provider when performing clinical tasks, the Medical Office Assistant supports daily clinical and administrative operations, promotes patient safety, and helps maintain efficient patient flow. Current Medical Assistant certification preferred through an accepted organization, such as the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
