On each visit you will provide skilled home infusion therapy, including IV medications, biologics, IVIG, antibiotics and hydration, in line with physician orders and pharmacy protocols: assessing the patient before, during and after the infusion, starting and managing peripheral IVs and caring for PICC lines, ports and other vascular access devices within your scope and competency, and watching for and responding to adverse reactions. You will teach patients and caregivers about their medications and line care, keep the pharmacy, physician and care team informed of changes, and complete electronic documentation after each visit.
