Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse ER (Adult) - **Shift Hours:** - 11a-11p alternating with 7p-7a - 13-week contract - **Charting System:** - EPIC experience required - **Weekend Requirement:** - Must work every other weekend - **Requests:** - Submit requests for RTO/block & special scheduling upon submission - **Call Off Policy:** - Client may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract without charges - **Holiday Requirement:** - Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed - **Travelers:** - First-time travelers accepted - **Local Requirements:** - RNs within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted; locals accepted for LPNs **Required License/Certifications:** - Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact) - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications must be valid and included in submission **Required Clinical Skills:** - IV therapy: blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs; IV vasopressors - CPAP/BiPAP; ventilator management - Care for CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI - Cardiac monitoring: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Emergency care: adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma - Isolation precautions; triage; pediatric spinal cord injury **Unit Details and Floating:** - **Ratios:** 1:5; Adults, Geriatrics; All emergency type diagnoses - **Special Equipment:** Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment - **Floating:** Required to float within skillset - **Scrub Color:** Any combination of navy blue and white **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
