Requirements: 2 years of CVOR experience; Level I Trauma experience; BLS; ACLS; Pennsylvania single-state or compact RN license at the time of submission; ability to scrub and circulate all types of CVOR cases; CVOR, General OR, and Hybrid OR experience; experience with Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, CABG, IABP, MAZE procedures, Mitral Valve replacement, Pericardial Window, TAVR, and LVAD/RVAD; experience with cardiac monitoring, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling and labeling, Universal Protocol/time-out procedures, urinary catheterization, wound management, code response, fire safety, latex allergy, and malignant hyperthermia; experience with Cell Saver, electrosurgical units, fiber-optic light sources and cords, Hana Table, and Steris; Cerner Surginet experience; Pennsylvania fingerprints.
