Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or compact Registered Nurse license; two years of experience; strong Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse and intensive care unit experience; community hospital experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; experience with interventional radiology procedures, procedural sedation, dysrhythmia management, vascular access, angiography, embolization, thrombolytics, ventilator management, and intensive care unit practices. Required clinical capabilities include end-tidal carbon dioxide monitoring, blood product administration, central venous access management, chest tube placement, gastrostomy tube placement, biopsy support, nephrostomy care, radiation and laser safety, sheath removal and monitoring, stent placement, thoracentesis, and vascular closure system management.
