MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-9) in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Monitors and reports on the status and progress of work, checks on work progress to ensure that work is complete by the end of the shift; Assures that quality age appropriate (neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric) care is provided; observes the quality of nursing care provided and assists in solving patient care problems, using a written nursing care plan and adjusts it to meet the changing condition of the patient; Ensure that the organizations strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the teams strategies, goals, objectives OR Successful completion of a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educational program or related medical science field. This education must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education(external link), Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs(external link), Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education(external link), or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education(external link) at the time the degree was obtained.
