Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Duration: 14 months Shift: Full-time day/night variable shifts (3x12s) scheduled as needed, including weekends and holidays, plus 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two years of acute hospital experience as a registered nurse, with at least one year of experience in an emergency department setting License: Current registered nurse license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (Must be AHA or RQI) Must-Have: Two years of experience serving as a registered nurse, with at least one year in an emergency room environment Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical skills, and communication skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care. The RN conducts primary assessments, detects and documents any major deviations from norms within acceptable time frames, and identifies necessary interventions.
