Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; emergency department pediatric experience; travel experience; valid California state license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Los Angeles City Fire Card certifications; compact license must be in hand at submission. Additional Information: Patient care includes trauma assessment, triage, airway and ventilator management, central and chest tube care, blood product administration, continuous intravenous sedation and paralytics, intravenous vasopressors, procedural sedation, seizure management, management of dysrhythmias, behavioral health emergencies, and care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.
