Required Qualifications: Valid and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA); graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with an associate or bachelors degree preferred; minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; knowledge or experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems; knowledge of advanced nursing theory, techniques, practices, medical terminology, instruments, equipment, and the uses and effects of medicines and narcotics. Additional Information: Responsibilities include patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, care planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions, medication administration, infection control, documentation, patient and family education, emergency response, and coordination of care with nurses, physicians, and advanced practice providers.
