Common diagnosis / Types of patients: very sick, high acuity patient population, pneumonia, end stage renal disease, post cath lab patients, respiratory distress, CHF, COPD. - Additional Notes: Unit is a lot of primary care nursing, they do have techs but they get pulled to sit and they may not always have them, very limited resources available, nurses will be very busy, they do have a float pool but currently is very limited.
