The RN Nursing Supervisor will also be responsible for facilitating admissions and transfers into the hospital from other sites within SolutionHealth and external facilities; and will coordinate patient access for emergent, urgent or specialty treatment, applying clinical expertise to prioritize admissions; and will optimize bed assignments and patient flow. Act as a traffic controller in patient flow, assigning patients to the appropriate units from all points of entry, including but not limited to, internal and external transfers, emergency and urgent care departments, surgical and procedural areas, and direct admissions.
