Common diagnoses include trauma, GSW, severe head trauma, stab wounds, CABG, IABP, CHF, GI bleed, DKA, stroke requiring TPA, long bone fractures, GI surgeries, and major transfusions. Should be familiar with stroke and cardiac prophylactic bundles, the ABCDE bundle for ventilator weaning and delirium/mobility management, and VAP prevention bundle.
