Dale Winham, Director of Student Nutrition Services: dale.winham@rochesterschools.org If you have questions regarding a job posting, contact the Office of Human Resources @ 507-328-4210 or email rachel.hepinstall@rochesterschools.org Job Summary: <ul><li>Assist in food preparation as assigned and set up food serving lines. </li><li>Position involves handling a number of food allergens and a variety of meat products.</li><li>Serve food in the correct portions by adhering to the production records and standardized recipes.</li><li>Assist in clean up.</li><li>Perform Point of Sale (POS) procedures as assigned.</li><li>Adhere to District's HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) plan. </li><li>Wash, sanitize and store kitchen equipment and utensils according to USDA and local guidelines.</li><li>Support and promote the meal programs offered at the site.</li><li>Perform other tasks within the level of responsibilities indicated above as assigned by supervisor.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Must have completed or be willing to enroll and complete the SNS required food safety training course.</li><li>Experience in a public school kitchen and/or background in related food service operations.</li><li>Knowledge of government guidelines and procedures concerning sanitation and safety.</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Computer skills and experience or willing to learn.</li><li>Regular, on-time attendance is required.</li><li>Stooping, bending, occasional awkward positions may be necessary to perform essential functions of the position.
