Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; experience with charting systems; progressive care and telemetry experience; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; rapid response and code team participation; blood product administration; central and peripheral line care; cardiac drips without titration; insulin drip titration; heparin protocols; vasoactive drips without titration; oxygen administration; non-invasive airway management; and isolation precautions and personal protective equipment. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, intravenous therapy teams, transportation, and unit secretarial support.
