The Occupational Therapist Float responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Functions in the capacity of Occupational Therapist in the daily provision of patient treatment, coordination of treatment with other disciplines, completion of required documentation of services delivered, communicating daily patient activity and charges for data processing. The Occupational Therapist Float is responsible for the ethical, cost-effective management, delivery, documentation, and outcomes of professional occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with an established occupational therapy plan of care and in compliance with all applicable licensure/certification requirements, professional occupational therapy acts, federal, state and agency policies and procedures.
