WORK SCHEDULE** + 100% FTE (40 hours per week) + Day Shift **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** + Assist physical, occupational, and therapeutic recreation staff + This position provides opportunities to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment with a great team of therapists **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Orders and stocks equipment + Managing and organizing supply areas + Cleans and maintains equipment, including but not limited to periodic monitoring, safety inspection, and regular cleaning, maintenance, and set up + Assisting clinical staff in miscellaneous tasks including record retrieval, filing, faxing, photocopying, arranging for interpreter services, charge preparation, and compilation + Direct patient care including ADL's, exercise, ambulating or positioning as directed by the therapy clinician, and safety support during groups or patient treatment **REQUIREMENTS** + Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) with the State of Washington + High school diploma or GED equivalent + Six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience + Valid American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER** As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
