Expectations and Tasks: Map business processes to solution requirements. Provide customers key insight and direction related to industry trends, best practices, and world-class solutions. Key member of the SAP Oil and Gas Practice. Utilize knowledge of SAP IS-Oil Solutions, industry expertise (i.e. SAP UOM, SAP PRA and SAP JVA), and product/business experience across multiple SAP solution areas (i.e. Tax and Royalty, Check Write, Production and Contract Allocation, Ownership, Revenue and Valuation, Joint Venture Accounting, etc.). Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Plan transitions of customer solution landscapes. Support pre-sales activities. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Occasionally assume responsibility as a (sub-) project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience. Drive the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes. Mentor business process consultants. Education and Occupational Experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $160,480 - $272,720. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $200,600 - $340,900. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
