We are the trusted advisor and implementation partner for electric and gas utilities undergoing digital transformation and can offer deep experience across utility OT systems. TheOutage Management System (OMS) Applications Engineer will be an essential part of our team to grow our Engineering practice in the Operational Technology and Control Systems domain.

Responsibilities:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Responsible for working directly on OMS configurations including Crew Management, ETRs, Field Mobility, and other OMS related modules.</li><li>Responsible for working directly on SOM configurations including AMP and other OMS related modules.</li><li>Attend and actively participate in workshops related to SOM and/or OMS.</li><li>Collaborate with customers to understand operational needs and support planning, configuration, testing, implementation, and cutover phases for OMS systems.</li><li>Work with OMS leads and Technical leads to provide design documentation as needed for the OMS, SOM, and Field Mobility solutions, as part of the overall project.</li><li>Conduct system and acceptance testing with end customers to ensure functionality and compliance.</li><li>Assist with solutioning and mitigation of all related issues and defects.</li><li>Travel to customer sites to deliver, test, and integrate systems directly with customers.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>3-6 years of experience working directly on the OMS/SOM systems and associated modules.</li><li>Preferably, above experience to include knowledge of products from at least one of the major ADMS/OMS vendors, such as GE, AspenTech/OSI, ABB, Schneider Electric, or Oracle NMS, however other vendors may be considered.</li><li>Knowledge of one or more OMS processes and modules, including outage management, dispatching, switching, and field mobility.</li><li>Knowledge of utility switching operation to support SOM configuration and workshops.</li><li>Strong work ethic with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.</li><li>Solid OT systems background with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across complex systems, with assistance from the OMS Lead as necessary.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.</li><li>Willingness to travel, averaging 25%.</li></ul> Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance.</li><li>401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match.</li><li>Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year).</li><li>All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.</li><li>TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.</li></ul>*These benefits are applicable to US employees depending on their employment status (full time, part time, or temporary).
