Overview:
Environmental Sector Overview Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil & gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects. TRC is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Solid Waste) to join our Southeast ECC division. The ideal candidate must have 5-10 years of solid waste experience and must have a Professional Engineering License (PE) in Virginia; North Carolina preferred. The position is based out of one of our Virginia or North Carolina locations. The position provides opportunities for engineering design including detail preparation, land grading, stormwater calculations, report writing, permit application preparation and construction quality control. Projects include, but not limited to, the design and permitting of landfills, transfer stations, convenience centers, recycling facilities, and composting operations.

Qualifications:
