Pruitt Tool & Supply, Co. is currently seeking candidates for an IT Intern at our corporate offices in Fort Smith, AR.We are an API Q1 Quality Management Certified company and we manufacture/refurbish specialized drilling equipment used in the oil and gas industry.We are seeking candidates to work as part of the Information Technology Team providing IT support to users. Incumbent will provide technical support/repair for all users on PC's, printers, smart phones, software deployment, patches, etc. This support may be provided in person, via telephone or video conference, etc. Additional duties include running cables and phone lines, equipment repair on computers, printers, servers, scanners, etc.Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a hands-on technology role and 3 months experience in a customer service or other assistance type role. Candidate selected must be enrolled in college classes and able to work approximately 20 hours a week during the school term. Hours may be increased during the summer and on holidays. Qualified candidates for the Fitter Welder position must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in flux core arc welding (FCAW) OR Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Additionally, they should possess the ability to solve problems logically, be able to work without direct supervision in a team environment and have the persistence to see a job through from start to completion.

Pruitt is seeking candidates to fill a Fitter Welder position at our corporate headquarters in Fort Smith, AR. In the various shops in Fort Smith, we assemble and refurbish equipment used in the oil and gas industry. This includes Rotating Control Devices, Control Panels, Managed Pressure Drilling Equipment, etc. Qualified candidates for the Fitter Welder position must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in flux core arc welding (FCAW) OR Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).  Position also requires 2 years' experience reading and working off blueprints and schematics.  Previous experience welding on oil and gas industry equipment is preferred, but not required.  Candidate selected must be able to pass a 3G Flux Core weld test.  Pruitt is Q1 Certified and a strict adherence to Quality Standards is required. Candidate hired will be required to pass a bend test as a condition of employment and must become AWS Certified after hire if they are not already so certified.Successful candidates will be able to effectively manage their time to meet production goals.
