Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license eligible for submission; minimum of 2 years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; competency with ventilators, vasoactive medication titration, hemodynamic monitoring, pulmonary artery catheters, central venous pressure monitoring, arterial lines, sheaths, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella devices, continuous renal replacement therapy, suctioning, and emergency ventilator interventions; ability to interpret cardiac monitoring strips independently; Epic electronic documentation experience required. This role provides high-acuity care for critically ill patients in a Level I trauma setting, including individuals with heart failure, ST-elevation myocardial infarction, pulmonary emboli, arrhythmias, and medical intensive care overflow needs.
