Required clinical skills include chemotherapy administration and monitoring, port and central-line management, blood-product administration, telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, intravenous therapy, oxygen administration, wound care, chest-tube management, tracheostomy care, and rapid-response participation. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid-response teams, pharmacy, and unit-secretary support.
