p>Examples of Duties: - Assist the Division's Director of Finance and Administration with all departments within the Administration and Finance Unit, as needed;
- Assist the division's Director of Finance and Administration with managing all aspects of budget and finance, procurement, and human resources functions for Student Affairs Technology Services, Student Multicultural Affairs, UMass Boston Police Department, University Health Services, and Urban and Off-Campus Support Services;
- Collaborate closely with the Division's Director of Finance and Administration to implement administration and finance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with university and state requirements;
- Assist the division's Director of Finance and Administration with providing trainings to employees for administration and finance systems; procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, accounting or a closely related field preferred, and a minimum of three-five (3-5) years of direct experience in administrative operations and human resources management, preferably in a higher education setting, is required; Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining operational systems for effective budget and personnel management, including complex data analysis and reporting is required.
