Specialized Experience: GS-15: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service or equivalent responsibility in the private sector/pay systems that has equipped the candidate with the particular competencies to successfully perform as a Agricultural Economist, the specialized experience is having the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position described as experience in using advanced economic and statistical analysis and research techniques to evaluate the economic impact of policy options on complex issues affecting domestic and foreign agricultural policy, trade, and production; and experience providing authoritative advice and guidance in the development, implementation, and dissemination of those analyses to a variety of audiences to enhance understanding of the issues. Surplus or displaced employees eligible for CTAP or RPL priority must provide: proof of eligibility (RIF separation notice, notice of proposed removal for declining a transfer of function or directed reassignment to another commuting area, notice of disability annuity termination), SF-50 documenting separation (as applicable), current performance appraisal with rating of at least "Fully Successful" or equivalent, and your most recent SF-50 noting position, grade level, and duty location with your application per 5 CFR 330.
