The Associate of Arts and the Associate of Science degrees offered through Clark States School of Arts and Sciences are designed for students whose primary goal is to transfer to a four-year college or university after attending Clark State. Adjunct teaching opportunities are available in classroom and online environments at various outreach site locations, including Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Clark States Springfield locations, the Greene Center in Beavercreek, and at the YMCA in Xenia. Positions are available for day and evening, classroom and online. Prior teaching in a collegiate setting is preferred. Blackboard certification is required for all online instruction. Training will be provided.Major Responsibilities

-----------------Successful teaching in a learner-centered environment requires knowledge as well as the ability to design, implement, manage, and assess courses taught in a variety of instructional modes. Each adjunct faculty member is required to:<ul><li>Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the subject area(s)</li><li>Use instructional and discipline-specific technology</li><li>Design courses that effectively meet student and curricular needs</li><li>Accommodate students with varying backgrounds and learning styles</li><li>Develop and use syllabi within College/School guidelines</li><li>Deliver course content successfully</li><li>Participate in the assessment of student learning</li><li>Manage courses such that students receive regular feedback and college reports are submitted in a timely fashion</li><li>Meet all classes or provide alternatives</li><li>Provide external support for students and through cooperation with student services</li><li>Maintain professional relationships with students</li></ul>Minimum Requirements
-------------------<ul><li>Masters degree in the discipline or a masters degree with a minimum of 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework in the discipline or related area subject area</li><li>Teaching experience preferred</li><li>In a few select areas, less than a masters degree will be considered with adequate work experience and/or industry credentials</li></ul>Compensation

Cedarville University seeks applications for the position of a Private Contemporary Commercial Voice Music Instructor in the Department of Music and Worship. Individuals are needed for this position in Fall 2024.The ideal candidate will be an accomplished performer and pedagogue in contemporary commercial voice styles. Knowledge of classical voice, current voice science, and pedagogy research is desirable.The successful candidate will primarily teach contemporary commercial voice. If the successful candidate has training, experience, and desire, he/she could be asked to teach classical voice. This position instructs on the Cedarville University campus.Position Requirements:<ul><li>Master's degree and/or equivalent performance/teaching at the professional level required.
