Teaching experience in PA education (cumulative time spent as adjunct faculty, part-time teaching faculty, and/or lecturing/precepting for a PA program will be considered) · Strong interpersonal abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with students, staff, faculty, and preceptors The successful candidate will: · Provide academic instruction, counseling, and mentoring to students in the didactic and clinical phases of the program · Actively assist in the maintenance of ARC-PA accreditation and NYS program requirements · Be actively involved in developing and carrying out the mission and vision of the department, college, and university · Assist in the program improvement including curricular implementation and the admissions process · Provide ongoing assessment of course content, student evaluation measures, and program outcomes · Engage in scholarly activity and service to the program, college, university, and community · Participate in national, state, and/or leadership activities relevant to physician assistant education and practiceAppropriate level of education based on rank.
