This is an operations management position that supervises multiple rooms.<ul><li>Supervise, mentor, and train staff to adhere to company policies and procedures and to provide exceptional care and communication with parents and co-workers</li><li>Implement ownership's vision and policies, working closely with ownership to facilitate the values, mission, collaboration, and policies of the company</li><li>Ensure smooth child transitions through close collaboration with parents and other teachers, ensuring each child's autonomy and independence and facilitating a positive relationship with the child, teacher, and parent</li><li>Provide leadership to staff by setting the example and through mentorship in a professional manner</li><li>Act as a liaison between parents, ownership, and staff when issues arise in a professional manner</li><li>Develop and maintain the utmost professional and positive culture, communication, and interactions with staff and families</li></ul>Supervise, train, and mentor staff to facilitate the following, while leading by example:<ul><li>Provide exceptional care and security in a Christ-centered atmosphere</li><li>Employ a variety of educational techniques to teach children and facilitate curriculum daily</li><li>Communicate with parents regularly</li><li>Collaborate with other educators</li><li>Conduct daily activities and communication in the utmost professional manner</li><li>Continuing education and training, as well as networking and continued professional development</li><li>Maintain a clean and tidy center consistent with health and safety standards</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in childcare and an expressed long-term interest in a career in childcare work</li><li>Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms</li><li>Cool-tempered, friendly, professional, and able to communicate effectively in a professional manner with parents,co-workers, management, and ownership</li><li>Extremely reliable, positive work ethic</li><li>Professional communication and demeanor</li><li>Proven skills and experience in business management and human resources</li><li>Certification in child CPR and First Aid is preferred, but we will provide training</li><li>Associate or Bachelor in Early Childhood Development or a CDA preferred, however we are willing to provide CDA training to the right candidate</li></ul>Work Environment & Physical Demands<ul><li>Ability to stand for prolonged period of time</li><li>Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li></ul>Job Type: Salary, ManagementPay: DOQ plus three weeks paid time off, company health insurance, dental, vision, disability, life, and 401k retirement match#J-18808-Ljbffr
