li>May, under the direction of the immediate supervisor and based on the needs of the college or department, be responsible for the preparation, instruction and assessment of 1-2 credit hour introductory and/or academic recovery course per semester which may be designed to introduce students to a specific or variety of academic programs and careers, assist students in their transition to the university, and/or develop strategies and skills for academic success. Participate and/or assist in planning and implementing New Student Orientation, Welcome and other advising activities, as well other events on- and off-campus to advise prospective students of college specific requirements (Events may include Falcon Friday, Preview Day, Presidents' Day, regional college events, etc., and other specialized events within a college/department.
