Position SummaryBabcock Power is looking for an Engineering Recruiter to drive the process to attract, source, and hire top engineers in the power industry! As a key member of our Recruiting team, you will work in our Louisville, KY office and partner with the Human Resources team to support hiring managers and team leaders to understand their needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Your goal will be to identify candidates for hard to fill positions and support a seamless and positive candidate experience while meeting the company's staffing requirements. Essential Functions/Responsibilities<ul><li>Conducting requirements gathering with hiring managers to understand job specifications, key qualifications, and other criteria to identify qualified candidates </li></ul><ul><li>Creatively identify various sourcing techniques (e.g., online sourcing, networking, referrals) to identify and attract top engineering talent. </li></ul><ul><li>Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications. </li></ul><ul><li>Manage the candidate’s experience, ensuring timely communication and feedback. </li></ul><ul><li>Track key recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes. </li></ul><ul><li>Build and maintain relationships with engineering professionals and relevant organizations. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate and timely applicant management within Applicant Tracking System, including recording pipeline notes. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and help them make informed hiring decisions</li></ul>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Requirements<ul><li>5+ years proven experience as a Recruiter specializing in engineering roles. </li></ul><ul><li>Solid understanding of engineering disciplines and technical skills required for various roles (e.g., electrical, mechanical, and design engineering in the power industry). </li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with candidates and stakeholders. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience recruiting in a corporate environment, particularly in tech or engineering sectors. </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. </li></ul>To provide greater transparency to candidates, we include base pay ranges for all US-based job postings that encompass all potential locations and levels for the open position.  Our base pay ranges are set based on the function, discipline, level and regional location and are benchmarked against companies in the same or similar industry.  Final offers may vary based on multiple factors, including education, depth and relevance of work experience, relevant licenses and certifications, and may vary from the amounts listed in the job posting.The base pay range for this Engineering Recruiter role is $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
