The incumbent provides a wide range of health care services, including providing care and counseling of persons, promoting maintenance of health and prevention of illness and injury based upon the nursing process which includes systematic data gathering, assessment and evaluation of human responses to actual or potential health problems through services such as: health education counseling, provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well- being and prescribing treatment. Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serves as Hospice/Palliative Nurse Practitioner in Geriatrics and Extended Car (GEC) Service working in the following areas: Community Living Center (CLC), Hospice and Palliative Care Unit, Acute Care Units, ICU units, ABIHCU units, Rehabilitation unit and outpatient for Palliative care clinics.
