Operate and monitor specialized equipment including, but not limited to portable dialysis machines, oxygen, hypothermia units, and various types of suction apparatus, infusion equipment, and patient-controlled analgesia pumps (PCA), epidural pumps, sequential compression devices, hemodynamic catheters, monitors, and ventilators, cardio-respiratory monitors and vital sign monitors. Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain a specific level of knowledge of new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
