Staffed by pediatric surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, urologists, plastic surgeons, dental surgeons, ENT specialists, anesthesiologists, perioperative nurses, child life specialists, and surgical technologists, the Pediatric Surgery OR operates with a deep understanding of the physiological and emotional needs of children. Plan and provide advanced and/or specialized nursing care for patients in guided by DUHS Professional Practice model participate in the clinical ladder program, educational activities, departmental committees, research projects or other health related projects as assigned.
