Overview: Responsible for (1) administering and maintaining the organization’s comprehensive casualty and specialty insurance programs; (2) analyzing the organization’s insurance needs; (3) working within the organization to proactively identify risk and drive improvements to control and reduce operational and contractual exposure; (4) managing insurance industry relationships with various brokers and underwriters. Responsibilities: Leads the organization’s efforts on design, implementation and management of casualty and specialty insurance programs, including renewals and related tasks (i.e. insurer selection, contract/rate negotiation, retentions/limits, binders, payments, certificates of insurance, summaries of insurance, allocation of premiums, policy reviews).
