They will direct everyone on the team essential to the efficient and effective operation of the store.KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Recruit, hire, train and develop top talent who provide exceptional customer service, excellent visual presentation of our product and effectively manage inventory.</li><li>Handle all administration/security compliance while controlling operation costs of the business according to predetermined budgets.</li><li>Motivate and inspire all team members to achieve company goals and surpass their personal sales goals.</li><li>Ensure that all team members clearly understand and comply with company policies, practices, and procedures.</li></ul>JOB DUTIES:<ul><li>Collaborate closely with human resources to ensure that qualified professional people are recruited and communicates all pertinent information to payroll department before actually hiring.</li><li>Ensure store operates within its predetermined budget (i.e. salary, inventory, expenses, etc.)</li><li>Establishes that weekly sales for store and personnel and ensures objectives are met.</li><li>Ensure that all personnel practices professional salesmanship according to company policies and procedures in order to achieve maximum sales and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Adheres to and enforces loss prevention and security policies, credit policies and procedures i.e. credit cards, employee purchases, deposit logs, return and exchange policies.</li><li>Ensures that all merchandise is properly ticketed and attractively displayed within the predetermined color story.</li><li>Ensures stockroom is neat and well organized. Ensure all merchandise is always up to date, transfers are properly executed and controls damages and mixes according to company policies.</li><li>Communicates stock replenishment needs to retail operations team, planning and merchandising departments.</li><li>Implement all company training programs effectively to train and develop personnel.</li><li>Evaluates personnel formally once a year and conducts quarterly touch bases.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM TASKS):<ul><li>Related work experience: five years of store manager experience (retail or service industry)</li><li>Experience managing a team of 20-30</li><li>Good understanding of Houston laws and regulations</li><li>Strong leadership and ability to motivate people in order to achieve sales objectives.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Willing to work retail hours (i.e. nights, weekends and holidays)</li></ul>

Founded in 1908, the college is proud of its long tradition of educating students for skilled, high-demand technical careers in a variety of industries, including automotive, advanced manufacturing, computer technology, health care, and construction trades through a mixture of 1-year, 2-year, and 4-year programs.Position Summary:  Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic adjunct faculty member to teach in our HVAC day program. This is a part time professional position reporting directly to the program chair. Compensation is calculated by semester, starting at $9,800.00 per semester.The primary responsibility will be to teach students HVAC courses such as basic electrical and safety, basic and commercial refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning in our 9 month training program. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.  Key Responsibilities of Part-Time Faculty:<ul><li>Teach during class hours from 8:00am to 2:30pm, on a hybrid schedule Monday through Thursday</li><li>Availability to meet with students when needed.</li><li>Use of course texts, outlines, and other curriculum materials in accordance with college and department policies. Any deviations from the course syllabus must be approved by the department chair.</li><li>Respond to chair and administrative requests in a timely manner and complete all responsibilities effectively; prompt in keeping appointments, attending meetings (when possible), starting classes on time.</li><li>Respond to students in a timely manner</li><li>Evaluate student achievement and provide timely feedback while maintaining accurate student records in the CANVAS LMS. Provide adequate support to students and maintain a respectful, professional rapport.</li><li>Participation in communications with the college and department.
